We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you all! After much consideration and with a deep commitment to inclusivity, we are officially rebranding the Metro Detroit Flag Football League to the Michigan Inclusive Flag Football League.

Why the Change?

Our mission has always been to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for individuals of all backgrounds and identities to come together and enjoy the game of flag football. While our roots may have been in Metro Detroit, our vision extends far beyond city limits. By adopting the name Michigan Inclusive Flag Football League, we aim to reflect our statewide reach and reaffirm our dedication to promoting diversity and acceptance on and off the field.

As part of our rebranding efforts, we are placing a special emphasis on promoting flag football within the LGBTQ+ community.
